Wright's 'Remembering King David' Examines the Historical David
Jacob Wright, associate professor of Hebrew Bible, wrote an article for the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR)'s blog titled "Remembering David."
In it, he answers the questions "Why didn’t the biblical authors present a more flattering image of King David, and why did they make his stories so complex?"
