Forming in the spirit of grace, growth and giving as informed by the Wesleyan tradition
Wesley House is a community that pursues a life of sanctification under the traditions and legacy of Methodism and its founders John and Charles Wesley. The emphasis of this house is living intentionally with hospitality and grace, both internally and externally. The members’ goal is to grow their relationships spiritually and communally.
The Wesley Community is located in a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath property adjacent to St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church and is 3 miles from Candler. There can be up to 4 members in the Wesley Community. The nearest bus stop and the nearest Emory shuttle stop are both about a 10-15 minute walk (15 minute bus ride). Drive time without traffic is about 10 minutes.
The total rent for the property this year is around $2,180 monthly (not including utilities). Per room rent based on the number of residents (4 maximum) is between $550-$730.
Please be aware that rental rates are not set by Candler and therefore all rental amounts are subject to change based on the decision of the property owner. Per room rates are subject to change based on the number of students in the house and the relative size of individual rooms.
