In their own words

St. Vedast’s House is an intentionally ecumenical community rooted in the rhythms of prayer of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. Hospitality is one of our key charisms. We love to eat together and try new things. One way we engage the wider community, especially Candler’s Episcopal and Anglican Studies program, is by inviting others over for meals and fellowship. Our community is multinational and multicultural, and we also enjoy a fair amount of reality television, Coca-Cola, and friendly theological debate.

Logistics

St. Vedast’s House is located near Emory’s campus, a 20 minute walk from Candler School of Theology.

We anticipate that the total rent for the property will be $2,467 monthly (not including utilities). Per room rent will vary based on the number of residents (4 or 5) but will likely run between $545 and $625 for a single room.

Please be aware that rental rates are not set by Candler and therefore all rental amounts are subject to change based on the decision of the property owner. Per room rates are subject to change based on the number of students in the house and the relative size of individual rooms.
