Friendship Hall is an apartment building located in a quiet wooded section of the campus of Columbia Theological Seminary designated specifically for Candler students. The Hall has 1, 2, and 3 Bedroom Apartments with a dedicated parking lot and shared laundry room. Each unit is unfurnished and has one shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room area. Students are welcome to live with their spouses and children in these units. If you are interested in being matched with a housemate, Candler’s Office of Admissions offers to intentionally place accepted applicants.
Friendship Hall is located roughly 5 miles from Emory’s campus. There is public transportation within walking distance: a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a 20 minute walk to the nearest Emory shuttle stop. If residents choose to bring a personal vehicle, we advise that they purchase an Emory parking pass.
Rent is $583-$750 per bedroom and includes utilities, internet, parking at the apartment building, and laundry.
Rental rates are not set by Candler and therefore all rental amounts are subject to change based on the decision of the property owner. Per room rates are subject to change based on the number of students in the unit.
