Charles Howard Candler Professor of Pastoral Theology and Spiritual Care Emmanuel Y. Lartey has been appointed Suffragan Bishop (Presiding Bishop’s Deputy) for the North American Mission Diocese (NAMD) of The Methodist Church Ghana.
The North American Mission Diocese of The Methodist Church Ghana consists of Ghanaian immigrant churches in the United States and Canada.
Lartey’s appointment took place during the 11th Biennial/49th Conference of The Methodist Church Ghana, held Oct. 21-25 in Accra, Ghana.
