Dr. Dhruv Raj Nagar joined Candler in 2024 as the inaugural holder of the postdoctoral fellowship in Jain Studies. Nagar earned a PhD in Philosophy of Religions from the University of Chicago and most recently served as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Divinity School. He will begin teaching at Candler in spring 2025.
