Candler Career Services invites staff, faculty, and key staff to a special lunch with current Army chaplains and members of the Army Chaplain Recruiting Team in Rita Anne Rollins Bldg, room 252.
This gathering offers a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from active chaplains about their lived experiences in service, vocational journeys, and the diverse contexts in which they serve. Guests will learn about what is required to become an Army chaplain, including the educational and ecclesial requirements, as well as the full process of application, endorsement, and training.
All faith traditions are needed and represented within Army chaplaincy. Recruiters will be present to walk through pathways into both Reserve and Active Duty chaplaincy, discuss how to build a meaningful and sustainable career supporting service members, and answer questions in an open and conversational setting. Attendees are encouraged to engage, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of how chaplaincy can serve as a long-term vocational calling.
We hope you will join us for this informative and engaging lunch as we explore opportunities for service, leadership, and vocation within the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps.
