Candler School of Theology’s Writing Center will offer writing workshops this semester geared toward helping Candler students strengthen their critical writing and analysis skills. All workshops are held on Thursdays from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m. in Room 252 of Candler’s Rita Anne Rollins Building.
Editing is a necessary part of revision, which must come before you submit your assignment. In this workshop, you will first learn how editing/revision is a generative process that promotes a great opportunity for writers to gain a new perspective on their own work. You will also learn how to employ effective and creative strategies to revise, edit, and proofread your draft.
Faculty Panel Discussion: Exegesis
A group of Candler faculty members will provide a brief theoretical background and share some personal tips and strategies for exegesis in seminary and ministerial contexts, followed by a Q&A session. Lunch will be served.
