Community Life
The Office of Student Life (OSL) is the hub of student activity at Candler School of Theology.
Through the OSL, a team of Candler student-staff facilitates community activities, programs and conversations. Throughout the year, Candler students, faculty, staff and their families gather for traditional events and holiday celebrations such as the early Thanksgiving Worship and Lunch and the festive End of the Year Party. Candler students also form relationships through informal interaction at lunchtime gatherings, study breaks, and special opportunities for enrichment and spiritual growth.
New traditions continue to form each year as students, staff and faculty introduce ideas and activities to share with the community. Some recently premiered events that have become annual occurrences include the Candler Dodgeball Game and Community-Wide THRIVE events.
The uniqueness of the Office of Student Life is that its staff is comprised of Candler students. Learn more about the staff in the Office of the Student Life.
