Hurl Taylor, Candler and Emory's oldest 2016 graduate, was one of the first students to graduate with Candler's new Master of Religion and Public Life degree at commencement on May 9. In this Emory News Center story, Taylor describes his journey to the MRPL, and how he hopes the experience can grow the juvenile prison ministry that he helps lead.
"Candler has given me a base of knowledge that I didn't have before," he says.
