Johnson to Give Convocation Address

To mark the start of a new semester, Candler will hold its spring convocation service on Tuesday, January 12, at 11:05 a.m. in Cannon Chapel. R.W. Woodruff Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins Luke Timothy Johnson will give the convocation address, “The Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of Wisdom.” Johnson, who has taught at Candler since 1992, will retire at the end of the 2015-2016 academic year.
