Worship ArtsFaculty, students and alumni from Candler School of Theology are prominently featured in the latest issue of Worship Arts, a bi-monthly publication of The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts.

Billed as the third installment in a series partnering with United Methodist seminaries, the July-August issue is organized around the theme “Transforming Worship: Empowering Prayer” and includes articles about different elements of spiritual life and worship, with Candler as the backdrop. Contributors include Theologian-in-Residence and Professor Emeritus Don E. Saliers, Associate Dean of Student Life and Spiritual Formation Ellen Echols Purdum, Associate Dean of Worship and Music Barbara Day Miller, Associate Professor of Worship and Liturgical Theology L. Edward Phillips, rising third-year students Gennie Bowles, Anna Blinn Cole and Brett Isernhagen, and 2015 graduates Trey Comstock, Allison Sauls and Carrol Wilson.
