King DavidJacob L. Wright, associate professor of Hebrew Bible, will lecture on his new book, King David and His Reign Revisited, as part of the Tam Institute for Jewish Studies Evening Lecture Series, Thursday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 102 of White Hall on Emory's campus.

The event is free and open to the public.

Wright is part of the core faculty of the Tam Institute for Jewish Studies at Emory. His courses at Candler focus on biblical interpretation, the history and archaeology of ancient Israel, and Northwest Semitic languages.

Wright is a member of Emory's Faculty of Distinction.
