David Key, director of Baptist studies, lauded the late Rev. Gordon Cosby in an April 5 story in The Washington Post. The Post described Cosby, who passed away March 20, as a "rebel pastor" for welcoming women, people of color and the poor as church leaders. "Seminaries have loved Gordon’s model," Key said.
