Key Explains Evangelical Tonal Change on Homosexuality

Some evangelical pastors have begun de-emphasizing homosexuality in their sermons. David Key, director of Baptist studies, sheds some light on why in a recent story by AP writer Travis Loller.
One reason is to attract more members to their churches.
“There’s never a proclamation. A resolution doesn’t pass. It’s just that people go silent on the issue,” Key said.
