United Methodist Scholarships Application Due March 1

Each year, Candler School of Theology presents scholarships for United Methodist students preparing for a variety of ministries. To be eligible for these awards, prospective students must complete the Master of Divinity application and the United Methodist Scholarships Application by March 1.

The United Methodist Scholarships Application [pdf] lists the awards and their eligibility requirements, which in some cases include home conference and career aspiration.

Second-year Master of Divinity student Grace Guyton, a recipient of the Sherman Scholarship, says that the award has been instrumental in her ability to focus on her studies.

“The scholarship has been a tremendous help,” she says. “I don’t have to worry about debt and how I might pay that off, which is something I am extremely grateful for.”
