alumni-webinar-post-it.jpgCandler’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations has launched a new program to connect Candler faculty to alumni, all from the comfort of your home or office.

Office Hours: Practical Ministry Webinars are free, one-hour online conversations with your favorite faculty members that are designed to give you new tools to use in your work and ministry. Registration for each webinar is required; once you register, you will receive an email with information about how to join the webinar via the GoToWebinar platform.

On March 21 at noon, Dr. David S. Pacini, professor of historical theology, will present a webinar entitled "Prayer and Transformation: Meditation as a Practice of New-Mindedness." Register for this webinar.

If you can’t make it to the live sessions, you can watch past webinars, which are archived on our site at http://candler.emory.edu/alumni/stay-connected/alumni-webinar.cfm. The first webinar, featuring Dr. Thomas G. Long on how to preach an Easter sermon, is available for viewing, as is the second webinar, featuring Dr. Jennifer Ayres on how social justice shapes Christian life.

We welcome your suggestions on topics and speakers. Is there a professor you want to hear from on a certain subject? Is there a particular challenge in ministry you would like addressed? Please email all suggestions to megan.lineberry@emory.edu.
