Candler School of Theology Offers Preaching Seminar in Orlando, March 3

Celebrated preacher and author Thomas G. Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, will lecture and lead a discussion on the tasks and opportunities of preaching in the 21st century at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Orlando, FL on Thursday, March 3, 2011. This event is open to everyone; clergy and other church leaders are encouraged to attend. The schedule begins with a 9:30 a.m. continental breakfast, followed by the lecture and discussion.
