Welcome to the Fall 2014 issue of Candler Connection, the magazine for alumni and friends of Candler School of Theology. This magazine is designed to foster community among the 7,800 Candler alumni around the world.

This Centennial Commemorative Edition of Connection focuses on the 100-year anniversary of Candler School of Theology. As we celebrate our centennial, we reflect on the legacy of the school and the individuals, events and ideas that shaped us. We recognize 56 men and women as Centennial Medalists for their extraordinary service to the school, the church and society, explore facets of our past, and reminisce about our most memorable Candler moments. Understanding from whence we’ve come will empower us to continue moving forward with God as we seek to embody our prophetic call.
