A new book by Associate Professor of Religious Education Jennifer R. Ayres has been published by Baylor University Press. It is her third monograph.
In Inhabitance: Ecological Religious Education, Ayres proposes a solution to humans’ increasing alienation from the natural world: the way of inhabitance. Examining a diverse array of inhabitance practices that foster more intentional engagement with the particular places in which people live, Ayres shows that ecological religious education nurtures a disposition of loving commitment toward God’s creation.
