Kwok Edits New Volume on Asian and Asian American Women in Theology and Religion

Kwok Pui Lan new bookA new book edited by Dean’s Professor of Systematic Theology Kwok Pui Lan has been published by Palgrave Macmillan as part of its series “Asian Christianity in the Diaspora.” It is her 21st monograph.

Asian and Asian American Women in Theology and Religion: Embodying Knowledge explores the ways Asian and Asian American women articulate their understandings of their religions, taking into consideration intersecting identities of race, gender, class, nationality, sexuality, and colonization. Written for members of all racial and ethnic groups who are looking for fresh perspectives and new scholarship, the volume features contributors from a variety of Asian ethnicities and backgrounds, including Assistant Professor of American Religious History Helen Jin Kim.
