Course in the Community: “Finding Phoebe: What New Testament Women Were Really Like”

November 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

Taught by Susan E. Hylen, Almar H. Shatford Professor of New Testament, this course will explore historical evidence that suggests women in the time of Jesus were able to be and do much more than stereotypes of this time period suggest. Exploring this new historical picture can transform the way we interpret and relate to the New Testament.
