munichPitts Theology Library and Emory’s Tam Institute for Jewish Studies will co-sponsor a screening of the documentary Munich ’72 and Beyond: A Film of Redemption, a Monument of Remembrance on Thursday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. in room 208 of White Hall on the Emory campus. A Q&A session with the film’s producer Steven Ungerleider will follow the screening.

The film commemorates the 11 Israeli athletes who were killed in the “Munich Massacre” at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Germany, and tracks the journey toward crafting a memorial to honor the victims. View the film trailer.
