The Candler Singers, a select group of elite musicians from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, will serve as the Evensong Choir at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta on Sunday, November 16, at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Evensong, based on the ancient monastic office, is sung each week from September to May in the cathedral space. Along with the traditional evening canticles, the choir will sing an arrangement of “Be Thou My Vision” and “Christ, Mighty Savior.” Associate Dean of Worship and Music Barbara Day Miller directs the Singers.

Earlier this fall, the Candler Singers toured in Washington, D.C. and Virginia, where they led Evensong at the Washington National Cathedral.

The Cathedral of Saint Philip is located at 2744 Peachtree Road NW Atlanta, GA, 30305.
