Candler Accepting Nominees for Extraordinary Contributions
As we prepare to celebrate the centennial year of Candler School of Theology in 2014–2015, we invite alumni and members of the Emory University community to nominate candidates for special recognition as one of a select number of outstanding individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to Candler, the Church and the larger society.
This group of notable women and men, be they alumni, friends, faculty, staff or administrators, will represent the best of Candler's story, past and present, whether their influence helped shape the institution of today, or they used what they learned here to foster positive transformation in the world.
Many may no longer be with us, but it is our aim to recognize the breadth and depth of those who brought us to this milestone and whose legacy will no doubt sustain Candler's collective vision in the century to come.
Past recipients of Candler's Distinguished Alumni Award need not be nominated to receive this recognition as they will automatically be given consideration. The Centennial Coordinating Committee will guide the selection process.
The nomination period has passed; no new nominations will be accepted.
