Barbara Brown Taylor to Deliver Convocation Address

The opening worship and Convocation of the Fall 2013 semester at Candler will be held Thursday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Cannon Chapel. The Rev. Barbara Brown Taylor, Candler's Fall 2013 Alonzo L. McDonald Family Chair on the Life and Teachings of Jesus and their Impact on Culture will deliver the address.
Taylor's McDonald chair lecture, scheduled for September 26 at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, is titled "Learning to Walk in the Dark."
