Rev. David W. Key

Rev. Key is the director of the Baptist Studies Program and is involved in recruitment, admissions, student life, counseling, placement, and development functions for Candler. He teaches in the Contextual Education program and is responsible for three classes: The Baptist Traditions: History; Systematic Theology in Baptist Perspective; and Baptist Traditions and Church Praxis. He is the founding pastor of the Lake Oconee Community Church at Reynolds Plantation, Georgia. His interests include the Religious Right, southern religiosity, Baptist relationships with the ecumenical movement, metaphysics, technological and social change, and cultural/political movements. He is an ordained Baptist minister.
