Candler alumni serve the church, the community, and the world in a variety of ways. With nearly 7,400 alumni and counting, the Candler community is making an impact well beyond the Atlanta campus. We are real people making a real difference in the real world.
As alumni, we also recognize the importance of staying connected to Candler. Though we are busy ministering in a variety of settings, we also take time to participate in the vibrant Candler community. Whether it is serving as a member of one of the alumni advisory or leadership boards, volunteering for a reunion committee, hosting a Candler Club or other event in your area, recruiting prospective students, or making an annual gift to support Candler's Theology School Fund for Excellence, there are a variety of ways for you to be involved in what’s happening at Candler.
We all remember fondly our days as Candler students, the joys and triumphs as well as the toils and challenges. We also know all too well the financial burdens and pressures facing current students. Every gift to the Theology School Fund for Excellence (Candler's annual fund) is directed toward student financial aid and scholarships. Gifts of every size truly make a difference for these women and men who are faithfully answering God's call to ministry. Alumni participation in giving to Candler is a vote of confidence in the mission of the school and in the future and current leaders of our church.
I invite you to join me in supporting Candler – with your time, your talent, and your treasure. Together as an alumni community, we can have an impact on this place that played such an important role in our own personal formation and development.
The Rev. Dr. Jeremy Pridgeon 02T
