Student Voices

"Cookie-cutter" sameness is not a characteristic you will find among the students at Candler. What you will find is a population that mirrors the real world and is quick to take meaningful action to improve the lives of all by seeing and celebrating the humanity in all.

Students bring their uniqueness, their creativity and their curiosity to share with all of us here—and we are grateful.

Enthused blog

Our Admissions blog, Enthused, chronicles life at Candler through the experiences and words of our students. They reflect on what “real” life at Candler is like, whether it’s exploring faithful living, sharing an encounter in contextual education or reflecting on an experience of youth ministry in South America.

"I was drawn to Candler by its diversity. Students come here with different backgrounds, different life stories, and difference educations. Some of them have raised families. Some are older and some are younger. And there's real theological and religious diversity—a full spectrum that represents the church more broadly than you might expect somewhere else."
