Kerr Ramsay '10
Associate Director of Admissions
Kerr was graduated from Candler in 2010 with a Master of Divinity. Originally from North Carolina, he worked in admissions at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia for seven years prior to coming to the Candler admissions team. He served for two years as the Youth Minister at All Saints' Episcopal Church in Atlanta and spent the summer of 2009 as a Candler intern with International Relief and Development in Indonesia. He has a passion for American history, the Atlanta Braves, and barbecue. In addition, he and his wife Palmer enjoy traveling and finding great food wherever they land.
Originally from Chicago, Theresa is a member of Ray of Hope Christian Church. At the office, she is the first person you see when you come in and is responsible for greeting visitors, scheduling campus visits, and scheduling appointments. Although Theresa is somewhat new to Candler, she has been employed by Emory University for twenty years as a police officer with Campus Police—so be nice! She enjoys planning weddings and other events in her spare time, but above all, she loves being a grandmother to her beautiful grandson, Christian.
