Individual Campus Visits

To get a true sense of the spirit of Candler, we encourage you to visit us during the school year so you can experience a taste of Candler in full swing. You can attend a class (or two), worship with us in Cannon Chapel, tour the world-renowned Pitts Theology Library, share in lunch and conversation with current students, and get all of your admissions and financial aid questions answered. Come encounter Candler from the inside-out by joining our community for a day of study, worship, information, and discernment.

A typical schedule for a campus visit during the school year is:

8:30 a.m.
Arrive at Admissions Office
8:45-9:15 a.m.
Meet, Greet, and Introduction to Candler.
9:30-10:50 a.m.
Attend a Class of Your Choice
11:00-11:50 a.m.
Attend Worship with Current Students
noon-12:50 p.m.
Lunch with Current Students
1:00-1:45 p.m.
Questions and Answers or Afternoon Class (classes are from 1:00-2:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays)

If you would like to visit during the summer, please contact the admissions office at candleradmissions@emory.edu or (404) 727-6326.  We are happy to meet with students Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm.  Summer visits typically last about and hour and a half and include a brief campus tour and the opportunity to speak with a member of the admissions team.

Until you are able to visit in person, you can learn more about Candler from our students, alumni, and faculty on the Admissions Blog! And be sure to like our Facebook page.
