Union UMC

Mission

The mission at Union UMC is to have a congregation that is defined by the love of God and marked by service to the community at large.

Description

Union UMC serves a diverse community with members coming in from Stockbridge, McDonough, Conyers and Lithonia.

Unique Opportunities for Service

The Coffee House Service allows a student the opportunity to develop their musical and worship leading skills in an innovative setting; where worship is framed in the experiences of every day life: to see God in every corner of life, to find wisdom even amidst the chaos, to search both secular and Christian music, listening for the voice of God in it all.  This is “church in a different setting"--no pews, no pulpit, few rituals, no standing, sitting and kneeling at specified times, only an earnest desire to experience God with us—Emmanuel—at each service. The Coffee House is truly unique!
