Midway UMC

Midway United Methodist Church

The church's mission is to make passionate disciples for the transformation of the world by extending the church's reach together.

The church is a thriving and reviving congregation of diverse ages and stages situated in suburban Atlanta. The church has an established ministry to children and youth that includes a large pre-school and after school care program, Scouting and sports ministries, and youth and children's groups and classes. There are three worship services celebrating traditional, contemporary, and modern forms of music, liturgy, and artistic expression. The church is presently emerging as a missional church by extending the church's reach outward to relieve suffering and welcome newcomers. Midway UMC has a creative and collaborative staff and lay leadership team and welcomes innovative and driven interns to join the team to help the historic church, founded in 1832, leap boldly into the post-modern future.

Unique Opportunities in Ministry

One of the unique opportunities at Midway includes the worship arts ministry. Artistic expression is important and Midway and the student will be invited to use their creative gifts in worship.
