Fayetteville First UMC

Fayetteville First UMC

Briarcliff's mission is to fulfill the Great Commission of making Disciples for Jesus Christ.  This congregation is focused on outreach to the unchurched.  Missions are an important aspect of what the ministries of Briarcliff UMC do for those who are marginalized.

All ages are represented in this congregation and the church has a strong sense of community.  The church's Vacaction Bible School attracted 75 children last summer, most of whom came from the local community. The community is multi-cultural, and both socio-economically and religiously diverse. The neighborhood has many empty nesters and retired people, but young families are beginning to move into the revitalized areas.
