Oasis International Worship Center exists to transform lives and change the world through compelling teaching of the Word, commitment to Spirit-filled worship, and convincing witness of God’s love.


OIWC is a 12 year old ministry with approximately 100 members. The congregation is ethnically diverse.

Unique Opportunities for Service

The site offers exposure to various areas of ministry and is ideal for students who are in the process of vocational discernment. The nondenominational/ independent church setting provides insight for those who are interested in church planting or who plan to serve in a similar setting after graduation.

Our vision is realized through the New Life Community Center (NLCC) using outreach ministries that provide programs which focus on delivery of relevant social services, case management, mass feeding programs, a full-scale clothing program, rapid re-housing and emergency shelter support, beauty salon and barber shop facility and services, GED and employment readiness programs and addictive behaviors support services.

Meeting the Five Areas of Ministry

Administration: The student will have access to Church Council, Finance, NLD, Trustees, and day-to-day operations.

Liturgy (Worship and Preaching): The student will serve as the Youth & Children's Minister and as such will be able to lead worship and preach most Sundays.

Mission and Outreach: It is important to Bethel Atlanta that the Youth & Children's Ministry be involved in all areas of mission & outreach.

Pastoral Calling and Congregational Care: The student will have direct access to the senior pastor and will be able to assist in congregational care.

Teaching: As the Youth & Children's Minister, the student will be able to develop curriculum if desired. The student will also have direct access to the senior pastor for personal edification.
