Scheduling Services
Requests for media support must be made at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that equipment will be available. Requests for media services on Monday must be received by 3:30 p.m. on the preceding Friday. While we will try to accommodate all requests for reservations received, we cannot guarantee availability of equipment if given shorter notice.
To schedule equipment and service, email cstmedia@emory.edu and provide the following information:
- course or event name
- course or event location
- start time
- end time
- equipment needed
- requester's name
- phone number
- account number (if applicable)
You may also call 404.727.6340 with your request; however, if you leave a voice mail message, please follow up by speaking directly to one of us to determine whether or not we will be able to provide your request.
Rate Structure
Direct Course Support. No charges are assessed for audiovisual services and normal materials provided to regularly scheduled credit courses in the School of Theology.
Other Services. Other departments or groups using Bishops Hall or Cannon Chapel as meeting space will be charged a fee for equipment. A list of our rates for audiovisual equipment is available.
Audiovisual Supplies. Prices for video and audio tapes, flip charts, markers, and other supplies are priced at our cost and are adjusted periodically.

Duplication Services. Only material that is not subject to copyright restrictions can be duplicated. More information on available resources is on our Media Collection page.

Copyright Policy
Common requests that cannot be filled due to copyright law infringement are:
- duplication of video or audio tapes without the written permission of the copyright holder.
- playback of off-air videos after ten days, and the retention of those same videos for more than forty-five calendar days. The 45 day holding period does not include weekends, holidays, vacations, examination periods, or other scheduled school interruptions. At the end of the holding period, the videotaped program must be erased.
- playback of videos outside of class for public performances.
