Cannon Chapel

Candler School of Theology

Scholarships

Candler scholarships are offered based on merit, need, and the availability of funds. Scholarships are available to degree seeking students and range from full tuition, fees and a stipend to one-third tuition. For optimal consideration, applicants should apply for admission to Candler before February 1. Candidates for financial aid should apply as soon as possible and no later than March 1.

All entering students, whether applying for merit scholarship or grants, are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), CSS/ Financial Aid PROFILE, and submit copies of federal tax return information.

FAFSA forms are available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov and should be completed as soon as possible and no later than March 1. Emory's Title IV school code for the FAFSA is 001564. The CSS/ Financial Aid PROFILE is also online at www.collegeboard.com/pay and should be completed using the Emory PROFILE code 5187 before exiting the registration process.

While most of the scholarship decisions are made on the basis of the Admission Application and other required data, United Methodist Scholarships and the Woodruff Fellowship require a separate scholarship application.
