Federal Financial Aid

Degree seeking students enrolled for at least six credits a semester may qualify for Federal Student Loans and Federal Work-Study Awards. Students should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS/Profile no later than March 1. The Emory University school code for the FAFSA is 001564. The CSS/Profile code is 5187. After a Candler Scholarship decision is made, the Emory University Office of Financial Aid will review the student file for federal financial aid eligibility. The FAFSA and Profile are available online in January each year. Students should submit tax returns and W-2s to University Financial Aid by March 1 as well. Once this information has been reviewed, students will receive an Emory University Financial Aid Award letter via OPUS that will show any Candler Scholarship that has been offered, as well as federal and other need-based financial aid award(s).
