The Justice and Reconciliation Project
The central purpose of the Justice and Reconciliation Project is to Shape an ethos, inspire deep thinking, and encourage practices of justice and reconciliation in Candler School of Theology, and in the larger university, church and community. The present core group commits itself to:
- engage faculty, students, and the larger public in sharing and collaborating on research in justice and reconciliation
- offer an array of courses for a broad audience of learners, and an intensive praxis seminar for faculty and students who wish to focus deeply on justice and reconciliation for an extended period of time
- ffer special events that inspire and teach theories and practices of justice and reconciliation
- develop resources that guide communities toward justice and reconciliation, including archival resources, such as oral histories
