Professor Reynolds's research is on Western Christian thought A.D. 400-1400. He focuses on scholastic theology and philosophy during the high Middle Ages (especially Bonaventure and Thomas Aquinas) and on the theology and canon law of marriage. His teaching also covers mystical theology. He is a senior fellow of Emory's Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Religion.
