Dr. Timothy E. Albrecht, Professor of Church Music, Professor of Music, University Organist
Dr. Albrecht is Emory University Organist and also holds a joint faculty appointment at both Candler and Emory's Department of Music. He heads graduate organ performance degree programs (Master of Sacred Music and Master of Music ). He is the author of twelve published volumes of Grace Notes for Organ I-XII (1987-2005) and has recorded five solo compact discs: Grace Notes for Organ (1997), Bach Live! (1998), Grace Notes, Too! (2005), Timothy Albrecht Performs Bach Live (2006), and Grace Notes: A 3rd Serving (2008). He performs organ recitals and hymn festivals and also teaches organ master classes throughout the United States and in many parts of Europe and Asia.
